- This directory contains the Geomview manual and various other pieces
- of documentation.
-
- NOTE: In addition to the PostScript and Info copies of the manual
- here, a dvi version is available separately via ftp from geom.umn.edu
- in the file "manual.tar.Z" in the "software/pub/geomview/pieces"
- directory. This may be useful for on-line viewing with a dvi
- previewer.
-
- geomview.ps:
- Printer-ready PostScript copy of the manual. It's roughly 125
- pages and contains figures, so it may take a while to print.
-
- geomview,geomview-*
- The GNU Info versions of the manual. You can install these in
- your GNU Emacs Info tree.
-
- example*.c:
- Sample external modules. These are described in the manual.
- example1.c should work on any architecture since it has no user
- interface. However, example2.c and example3.c depend on the FORMS
- library which is only available on SGIs. Hopefully we will have
- more examples in the future that work with the X11 and NeXTstep
- versions of Geomview.
-
- oogltour:
- A quick tour through the sorts of geometry which are supported
- by OOGL.
-
- OOGL.m.doc:
- Documentation for the Mathematica-to-Geomview conversion
- packages. This is excerpted from the manual.
-
- newsletter_article:
- An article that appeared in an issue of the Geometry Center
- newsletter announcing the first release of Geomview, in
- January of 1991.
